My name is Courtney and I’m a photographer specialising in wedding photography, based in the south west of England.

My passion for photography has been ongoing for a number of years now, having shot my first wedding aged just 15.
From this day I immediately realised that wedding photography would become my passion; I started to broaden my knowledge, expanding my portfolio along the way.

I love working with people and am often complimented on my working style, capturing your day in an unobtrusive way, documenting the day as it unfolds. For most of the day, I’ll blend in with your guests, capturing those otherwise missed moments by working discreetly, offering direction when needed. I work in a natural photojournalist style with a particular emphasis on details, emotion and atmosphere to tell the story of your big day.

My goal while photographing your wedding day, your family or just your everyday life, is to tell your story. I want to capture not just the pretty and posed photos, but also the moments in between, because I believe those photos hold the most treasure.

I offer free consultations with every wedding package, and you can use as many as these as you like! After all, it’s crucial that you’re both comfortable with the person who will be spending a lot of the day by your side, capturing intimate moments and emotions throughout. Just one of the reasons I love photographing weddings is that being invited to witness and share some of the most important, emotional moments of a couples lives, and having their trust instilled in me is an honour in itself.

Willing to travel any distance, I can help tailor a package to perfectly suit your big day; no venue is too far away!

Following even more horrific racism this week and the murder of George Floyd, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I can actually do to actively help make a small difference, aside from sharing posts for awareness - although this does help spark conversation about these issues. If you use social media at all then you have a platform. Use it. We see SO much negativity on social media now, so use it for good. Use it to start change. Whether you have 10 followers or a million followers, it can be enough to get people talking.

What am I doing to help? Firstly I will continue to educated myself, there are plenty of resources out there (I urge you to research white privilege if you don’t know about it for example).. And I will talk about it!

Secondly, for each mini session booked on or before 07.06.2020, 50 % of the price of the session (£20) will be donated to George Floyd’s official memorial fund.

After that, £10 from each shoot booked through June will be donated to Black Lives Matter to support the movement and the ongoing fight to end state-sanctioned violence, liberate Black people, and end white supremacy forever.

⚠️ These shoots will of course observe social distancing guidelines and take place locally, be it on your doorstep or having me join you on your daily exercise! ⚠️

If you’re stuck wanting to help but not sure where to begin, please consider booking and using this chance to donate to a worthy cause in exchange for some pretty photos... Please send me a message to book!

All lives won’t matter until black lives matter.
